Q: How long after Momma K's is opened will it be good for?
A: Upon opening, refrigerate Momma K's and it will stay good for four months!
Q: What about unopened?
A: The shelf-life of Momma K's is two years unopened.
Q: Is Momma K's Gluten-Free?
A: Yes! Momma K's is 100% Gluten-Free
Q: Where is Momma K's manufactured?
A: Momma K's is manufactured locally in Rochester, NY
Q: Can I purchase Momma K's in stores? Where?
A: Yes, you can find a local listings of all the stores we are currently in here.
Q: How hot is "hot"?
A: Momma K's has a unique flavoring unlike many of the meat hot sauces out there. It has a sweet savory flavor with a mild spice at the end. We like to describe it as the perfect blind of sweet and spicy!
Q: What are the best ways to use Momma K's?
A: Momma K's is very versatile in what you can do with it! We will be putting together a blog page soon to show off YOUR ideas but in the meantime you can use it a number of different ways other than just hot dogs and hamburgers: Try using it as a dipping sauce for Grilled Cheese sandwiches, French Fries, Chicken fingers or Chicken Wings. Put it all over your Eggs in the morning or on top of Macaroni and Cheese. You can use it to make chili, put it on your chicken sandwiches, steaks, pork chops, or Italian Sausages. Like we said, VERY versatile!
Q: What is the best way to warm up and prepare Momma K's?
A: It depends on how many servings you are using. If you are going to make a whole jar (or close to it) we suggest warming it up in a small sauce pan on the stove-top. Stir it until it liquifies. If you are just warming up one serving we suggest microwaving it for 20-25 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave).
Q: Can I freeze it?
A: With a two year shelf-life unopened and a four month shelf-life in your refrigerator after opening it might not be necessary and we do not always recommend it. BUT if you absolutely need to, empty Momma K's from the jar and put it in a freezer safe container until you are ready to use.
